About Soy Wax

Soy wax candles are made from all-natural soybean oil extracted from the soybean plant. Soy candle wax – in the form of soy wax flakes – is an earth-friendly alternative to paraffin, and cheaper than beeswax, giving you affordable soy products that also protect the environment.

Candles made from soy wax flakes are safe and cleaner than paraffin because:

Soy wax candles are non-toxic, made from soybean oil of the soybean plant, a renewable resource grown by American farmers. (Paraffin wax is a derivative of petroleum, emitting 11 toxins and two carcinogens.)

Candles made from soybeans produce none of the harmful carbons and black soot emissions of paraffin wax, as soybeans are 100 percent natural, making them popular for other soy products as well.

Soy candle wax burns cooler and longer than paraffin, and releases fragrances naturally and longer.

American farmers grow the soybeans used to make soy wax flakes and other soy products. So instead of depending on imported paraffin, the soy wax candle industry relies on the soybean plant supply right here in America for producing its flakes from soybean oil – soy candle wax made in the USA!

With a lower melting point than paraffin, soy wax candles create a deep, wide wax pool when burned. Soy candle wax has a memory, so as long you burn your soybean candle long enough the first time to create this deep, wide wax pool, it will “remember” to burn wide and evenly every time. And made from soft soy wax flakes created from soybean oil of the soybean plant, it washes easily out of containers with hot soapy water.
